Lindsey Gibson is 14 years old and has been playing the violin for 8 years. She has been apart of her school orchestras for the past 5 years, this year being her sixth. Aside from school orchestra, she has participated in the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras for the past 5 years, including AYDO, AYSE, AYCO, and is currently apart of AYSO. Lindsey has also been apart of smaller string ensembles, including Violin Choir, Patriot Violins and Junior Chamber Ensemble. This past year, Lindsey volunteered to be a student counselor at a summer strings camp in the elementary level, and she volunteered in area orchestra as a side by side player. Throughout the eight years Lindsey has been playing the violin, she has really enjoyed sharing her love of music with others.
